LeBron Just Mocked Trump Voters In Ohio, ‘I Don’t Think A Lot Of People Was Educated’

Basketball great LeBron James does have true Ohio credibility, having grown up in Akron and recently brought Cleveland its first major sports championship in more than fifty years. However, hyper-wealthy James clearly is disconnected from his fellow Ohioans when it comes to the struggles they are facing and the reasons that they voted for outsider change agent Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.

Instead of trying to better understand why they backed Trump and not Hillary Clinon, James, who never attended a day of schooling past high school, instead went on the attack against Trump voters in Ohio for being “uneducated.”

Stated LeBron recently, with obvious condescension, about all Trump voters, “No matter whether you voted for him or not, you may have made a mistake and that’s OK, if you voted for him. It’s OK. I’ve done things for my daughter and realized I shouldn’t have gave my daughter that many damn Skittles. Maybe I shouldn’t have done that.”

He then hit Ohioans hard and in the process used some embarrassingly bad grammar by saying, “At the end of the day, I don’t think a lot of people was educated.” He continued, “And I think that’s one of the biggest problems that we have. When it becomes vote time, people are just not educated on either the individual or what’s going on in the state of the world right now. … I don’t think a lot of people are educated and they make choices and say things that are uneducated.”

He then qualified his statement, adding, “And am I saying that the people of Ohio wasn’t educated? Am I saying that some of the other states that voted for him was uneducated? They could have been or they could not have been. But that doesn’t mean it was the right choice.” Do you think uneducated LeBron James should stick to basketball and stay away from speaking for regular Americans?
