Julianne Moore Goes On ‘The View’ And Said Gun Control Isn’t A ‘2nd Amendment Issue’, She Gets Crushed

Hollywood actress Julianne Moore, who gets protection from armed guards, and stars in the movie Kingsmen: Golden Circle which literally features hundreds of guns, went on ‘The View’ to advocate for gun control. The worst and most dishonest part of Moore’s argument is that she claims that ‘gun control’ is not a 2nd Amendment issue.

Whoopi Goldberg started the conversation. “It’s not about gun control, it’s about safety,” said Goldberg. “Yes, it’s about safety,” started Moore.

“People like to talk about, ‘It’s a Second Amendment issue,’ it’s a safety issue. A gun is a machine. For instance, when cars were introduced we had any number of fatalities because we didn’t have safety regulations. We didn’t have seat belts and speed limits and air bags,” said Moore.

“So we’re asking for those same kinds of things with guns. Registration, licensing, background checks. I also think, personally, limitations on the amount of firearms you can own,” said Moore.

On the bright side, the more liberals say moronic things like this, the more they are demonizing their own cause. Hundreds of commenters all around the internet expressed just how idiotic Moore’s statement really is. “I suggest a limit on dumb celebrities first amendment rights,” joked one commenter. “Shall not be infringed….” one wrote simply. “Right, cause criminals and thugs keep the law,” wrote another.
