apper Eminem recently alienated millions of his loyal fans when he recorded a video of himself giving a middle to any of his fans who support Republican President Donald Trump, rapping, “And if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split on who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for you with this. Fuck you!”
That complete disrespect for America’s sitting president was applauded by liberals, who always claim to be “tolerant.” Seth Meyers, the left-wing host of NBC’s Late Night, was clearly among them. He tweeted out, “Taking a cue from Eminem, @SethMeyers also has an original rap for his fans who also love Donald Trump.”
On Late Night, after playing a portion of Eminem’s video, Meyers said to his television audience, “I was inspired by that. So tonight I say to any fans of this show who are also big fans of Donald Trump: it’s time to make a decision guys. Get off the fence.”
He went on, “Do you support him or do you support this show that constantly mocks and denigrates everything about him?” He then said directly to viewers, pretending to rap, “My name is Seth and I’m here to say: If you like Trump, then go away.” When he finished, Meyers gave his Trump-supporting viewers a middle finger.
The response to Meyers’ act was scathing. Said one Twitter user, “Brought to you by @sethmeyers and @nbc , network who protects rapists. Hey Seth how many women were raped while you remained silent?” Added another, “#MAGA Never watched this shit show anyway, but have fun explaing this to your advertisers.” Will you boycott alte Night after this?
